Problems with qif import

Thank you big time for your post.  I have spent days trying to find what was
wrong (more accurately, what is not right) with the qif files that my
generator creates.  I followed your model, and everything seems to be
working.  I wrote my generator in C.  It takes an abbreviated text file that
I create manually, and the generator converts it to qif format.
