It should. By setting the HOME environment parameter glib believes the user's
home directory is in the new location. All the dependent apps we are using
should use that as a base for creating their config directories. It has worked
so far for all other users based on the feedback I saw on the bug report. So I
have no idea why it fails for Purper.
