trouble with reconciling

	Maybe you have to click the Enter Interest Payment button and then
click the No Auto Interest Payments for this account button in that window
the first time you reconcile an account.  If that does it, it must remember
it after the first time, because I haven't been in that window in a while.

oh no. i was hoping it was something like this. i have tried checking and
unchecking sub accounts/ interest.... but let me nose around again.
