sole proprietorship with respect to my PERSONAL books?

NOt an accountant either, but I separate my business and personal stuff by
creating top level accounts that are labelled as personal and business.  I
have bank accounts that are separate and in separate top level accounts
under assets. Since they are part of the same "book" I can still move money
from one to the other through the appropriate virtual income + expense
accounts even though they are instant transfers from one account to another. 
This is fine in my eyes for  sole proprietorships, and if its not, I just
dont care, I dont want to have to close and reopen every three minutes when
I am doing accounting.
