Slowed Options in reports

Hello:


For some time observed when opening a menu option
need to fill in some field takes much longer than usual to allow
enter data, and the delay is increasing.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Gnucash and remains the same;
but I notice that if I open the same file from other user accounts
or from Windoze XP goes perfectly, so I tried to delete the
directory / home / I / .gnucash and still happening the same.

What could be the cause?

I use Ubuntu 12.4.
