Entering transactions that require a currency conversion

That's handy!I seem to have reproduced the problem reliably now. If I enter
a transaction from my Current Account and the Account Receivable is then
used in the "Transfer" column I get the pop up window requesting the
exchange rate. When I do  it the other way around and I enter the
transaction using the Account Receivable and  put the bank account in the
"Transfer" column then i do NOT get the popup window to request an exchange
rate (using the same two accounts in both cases which have different base
currencies).  To reinforce this if I use Mikes tip above, in the first case
I can change the exchange rate. In the second case I get the message "This
register does not support editing exchange rates"So I am supposed to enter
all transactions using a Bank Accounts? What is different about "Account
Receivable" accounts?????????????
