Hi Lauren,
I think help request like this should go to the gnucash-user mailing
list, not developer.
Regarding your question:
Go to
Reports -> Sample & Custom -> Welcome Sample Report
Have a look at the options and play around with it.
Surely you will get the clue out of it.
Once you have set the options to something that you want to keep, change
the title of the report (in the report options), save the report and
re-open it by going to
Reports -> Custom Reports.
