How prevent auto open of last file?

Hi,

You have three choices:

1) run "gnucash --nofile" -- which will start gnucash without a file.
2) double-click on the actual file you want to open.
3) just live with it; run Gnucash, then Open the file voia File -> Open or
from the recently used files.
