Will not import account structure from gnu cash desktop

I have tried to import my account structure from desktop gnu cash.  I get an
error that says something to the effect of:

An error occurred while importing the gnucash accounts. 

The file is in Dropbox and is not corrupted.  This happens on two Android
decives; Samsung galaxy  3 and a Asus memo pad hd 7. 

Please help
