Doing Estimates in GnuCash

Hello,

   Is there a way to create estimates in gnucash similar to the one 
available in Quick Books?  An estimate is just an invoice that you 
create but it has its own number sequence and is stored separate from 
invoices.  When the job is approved, you then convert the estimate to an 
invoice and its number is changed to merge in with the other invoices, 
and it becomes an account receivable entry. Estimates can be left on the 
system or deleted as needed provided they haven't been converted to 
invoices.  Any way to do this in GnuCash or is this a feature request?
