Error parsing file on OS X

Hi Derek,
Thanks...
I scanned through the data file. I am not familiar with XML files and
not very sure what to look for :-(
I was trying to find whether I could see <trn:date-posted> and
<trn:date-entered> pairs (as below). I didn't find any broken pairs.
<trn:date-posted>
<ts:date>2013-08-21 00:00:00 +0800</ts:date>
</trn:date-posted>
<trn:date-entered>
<ts:date>2013-08-25 07:34:52 +0800</ts:date>
</trn:date-entered>
Is there anything elase I should look for ?
I don't mind sharing my datafile if someone can help me look at it.
Thanks in advance.
With best regards,
P S Prem

I don't think you need to re-install GnuCash. But you might want to
take a close look at your data file. The parse error seems to be after
a transaction with a date/time of Sun, Aug 25 08:02:23 2013, as you can
see from this portion of the trace file:
* 17:08:52 INFO <gnc.engine> [xaccTransSetDateInternal] addr=0x417cb60
set date to 1377388943.000000000 Sun Aug 25 08:02:23 2013
* 17:08:52 INFO <gnc.engine> [trans_cleanup_commit] get rid of rollback
trans=0x417ccf8
* 17:08:52 INFO <gnc.engine> [trans_cleanup_commit] get rid of rollback
trans=0x417cf18
* 17:08:52 CRIT <gnc.backend.file.sixtp> parse failed at:
* 17:08:52 WARN <gnc.backend> [gnc_xml_be_load_from_file()] Syntax error
in Xml File /Users/premps/Documents/SMA/GNUCash/2013Accounts.gnucash
I would recommend that you look in your data file for the transaction
with this date/time stamp, and then look at the rest of that transaction
and the following transaction in the datafile. That should give you a
clue as to what might be going on.
