Currently one brings up the print dialogue and then "Print to PDF" then
"save as" one's invoice number.pdf or in my case where I have repeat
business each month I use a customer code along with the Invoice number
to identify the file for attachment. Like this Inv046782_FB0.pdf.
This works OK because I do an invoice run at the start of each month.
So once I have setup the Invoice the way I want it, I just move from
Invoice to Invoice by changing the number in the Invoice settings (the
spanner)and hit OK - never apply.
I do save all the pdfs in a folder in case someone needs a reprint.
In Australia we have to use the Expression "TAX INVOICE" on our
invoices, so I change the heading each month for the duration of the
billing process, and I also add extras notes with info on how to pay by
EFT.
Derek is likely to invite you to make this better by contributing the
code, do you know "scheme"?
