Questions Regarding Backup and Stopping Gnucash

No, there is not.  Pretty much the only way to stop gnucash "cleanly" is
to issue it a "Quit" command, either via the Menu (File -> Quit) or
Keyboard (Ctrl-Q).  But this begs the question of why you would want to
force-quit GnuCash at 3am?  Or even why you feel you NEED to shut it
down?
