Can't maximize window

Ubuntu 14.4 went final....yesterday?

Anyway, I'm using 14.4 (LTS) final with the Unity desktop and Gnucash 
2.6.3. I do not experience this issue. So, my guess is the issue is 
something specific to the way GNOME is implemented in 14.4.
