You won't believe it...

Just tried this - the duplicate transaction has a '?' instead of an 'I' 
and can be manipulated freely, including removal.

Setting the '?' to 'I' will make the transaction read-only, but I can 
still delete it.

It looks like the worst "shoot yourself in the foot" use cases have been 
resolved somewhere along the way.
