Thanks for your reply, Anders.

After reading your last paragraph, I got past square one, but I'm still
having problems (object-oriented programming messages).  When I try the
install, I get the message "BASIC runtime error.  Property or method not
found ($ARG1)".  And in the object catalog window, "Install" is
highlighted.  Sounds like something needs an argument it's not getting.

When I exit and restart LibreOffice, the macros seem to be present, but
they don't work...maybe because the install didn't work.

And the results are the same under Windows 7 as OpenSuSE 13.1.  I guess
that makes sense -- the code is OS-independent.

I will keep searching for forums that may have answers.
