2.6.3 from GetDeb crashing on Ubuntu 14.04

Question, What is so great about GC 2.6.3?
I am using 2.4.13 and it has been absolutely trouble free.
I do use my own invoice templates.

For what it's worth, I haven't experienced the problem since doing the purge/reinstall drill with the getdeb package.  But, it's still early.
