KMyMoney vs Gnucash

I think GnuCash has been more than an accounting package for a very long time. 
Or I could also state the exact opposite: for an accounting package is lacking 
important features IMO: to mention just one - the ability to file your taxes. That 
has never happened because this is highly dependent on (constantly changing) 
local law.

So just as others already suggested, please don't pin GnuCash down on just 
accounting. It does more and it does less, depending on your needs.
