Gnucash won't edit lines after update to Kubuntu 14.04

I had the same problem with Lubuntu 14.04. Per
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnucash/+bug/1306500, try running
'ibus exit' before you start gnucash and see if that affects the problem.
