Removal of currency prefix in Ubuntu

Hi Keith,

You have run into a known bug [1], which will be fixed in the next version of GnuCash (2.6.4).

In the meantime you can use Tools->Security Editor to correct the symbol. It will open a list 
of known securities. You may have to tick "Show National Currencies" to list those as well. 
>From the list you can then select CAD to edit and remove the "C" from the "Display Symbol".
