I'm glad to hear this resolved your issues. The 2.6.3 version is currently
the default version 
for Windows users on the gnucash main page. I realize it's not really
clearly indicated as such.

Ok, that will be fine now.

It will never be. That is, the developers have decided to release 2.6.5 as
soon as the Windows 
issues with 2.6.4 get fixed. This will avoid confusion. Just consider 2.6.4
as a version best to 
avoid on Windows.

I'll have to pass on this one. I don't use that report. If you don't get an
answer soonish from 
someone else, I suggest you ask this as a separate question on the mailing
list. By asking it 
under your original topic (Issues after upgrade), you risk that many people
skip it.
