Can't get Capitalone360 biz account and online banking working

Ok,

I just talked to online banking tech support and confirmed they DO
support direct connect with quickbooks.  They have no idea what gnucash
is, though.

They also said that this is correct:

In that I need to choose, for institution, Capital One Bank-after
12-15-13

The problem is, they have no idea what client uid means.  They said they
can register a new device, but they only support that for quickbooks,
and qb should be able to that by itself.
