Billing/invoice and attached files?

I have former worked around the lock for the transactions generated by the business feature by adding new lines to the transaction.This was mainly because i bock purchases of inventory items as inventory assets and when i sell the items i need to reduce the inventory assets with the amount that i bought that item and increase the expense account associated with that item with the same amount.

I thought that i would be able to work around the limitation of associate files to transactions generated by the business feature by adding dummy transactions and then associate files to them but while no complain appears about that the transaction are locked,no window appears either that i can associate files in.




I do all my invoicing and billing inside the business feature and i scan digital copies of all my bills for backup purposes so if a could add these images directly to the transactions it would be much appreciated.Either by being able to associate files in the bill/invoice window or directly to the generated transaction by overriding the lock.
