Gnucash 2.6.1 on OSX 10.9.1

I just switched from 2.4.11 to 2.6.1 and it seems to take about a minute and
a half for my file to open. This is much longer than what it took in 2.4.11.
Is anyone else having this issue? 

Also, I cannot get the FinanceQuote to work. I read through the
documentation but it was no help. In the Security Editor I get a message
saying "Warning: Finance::Quote not installed properly."
