Probably not.
I can’t find any trace of this null transaction in my bank account, nor in the General Ledger, but if I request Reports—>Account Report in either of these it comes up:

It would appear that I’ve created half of a split transaction somehow.
30th December 2013 was the date on which I switched over to GC 2.6. I’ve opened the backup I took immediately before the upgrade, and this doesn’t have the offending transaction.
The ghost transaction is not visible in the account itself, and although it is possible to delete a transaction from the reconciliation window, I’m not sure what would happen if I try it - I’ll wait for 2.61 and tidy up then.
