Thank you Geert,
I had looked through the bug list thinking I might find something, but
hadn't. Bug 721290 does seem to be the same thing.
Looks like a fix is desired for 2.6.1, so I'll wait to be able to see my
notes until then. The report is a workaround if I'm desperate. :-)
