Saving Accounts view column widths

Gnucash does not retain the column widths I set for the "Accounts" tab. I
adjust the widths to make everything viewable, but despite one or more
"Save" actions for the file, the next time I open the file the columns are
back to the default widths.

I'm running GnuCash 2.6.0, on OS X 10.6.8.

Any tips or pointers to where I can set these values to make them permanent?
