deleting file names (Wm)

The file history is stored in the prefs database.  Where *THAT* is stored
varies depending on GnuCash Version and OS/Distro.  In GnuCash 2.4 it was
stored in gconf, but 2.6 moved to gsettings which uses different backends
on each platform.

Removing the data files (.gnucash) or the metadata files (.gcm) will have
no effect on the visible history.  To affect that you must edit the
configuration data in your system, which as I said varies from version/OS.

Seriously, it's just cosmetic.   Just ignore it.

If for some reason you cannot ignore it....  well, you can go spend the
time to figure out where the gconf/gsettings store is for your platform
and edit it out of there.
