Hi Derek

OK thank you for that info. It does appear that the emails have stopped coming through but I will continue to monitor.

Is my computer or my security effected by this attack?

Alan,

If you look closely at the messages you forwarded you may have noticed
that all of them were from MONDAY, which is before you were removed from
the list.  The list servers were under attack and that attack augmented a
DNS failure and caused significant delays (36-48 hours!) in email
delivery.  Unfortunately you got caught in this issue, in that your
removal happened AFTER these messages got sent, so your address was still
attached to these messages in the queue after you were removed.

Rest assured that you HAVE been unsubscribed from the list and once the
current queue of messages flushes out you will no longer receive any more.

I apologize for the confusion; the issue only came to my attention today
and I've spent the past 5+ hours tracking it all down and putting
corrections into place.
