ledger and checking account

I believe your question is ------ How do I rename an account? (don't 
like the original name, want a different one)

Edit account. There are other things you can change about the account 
besides its name. You can move it to be a child of a different parent, 
you can add/change the description, you can make it a placeholder, etc.

If you select the account (in the chart of accounts) it will let you 
choose to edit it.
