No, that was 722182 - - GnuCash 2.6.0 loads data file much slower than 2.4.x [1]. 722903 [2] is about performance once GnuCash has started, and that patch remains and speeds up several things, especially importing. I've noticed some lags on other things like reconciling and autocomplete though, so the bug is still open pending further profiling.
