How can I bulk duplicate tranactions

Is it possible to enter one month's worth of transactions (i.e. 60 or so)
then set them as a Scheduled Transaction template? Then you could run that
monthly. 
I haven't tried but is it possible to run scheduled transactions
retrospectively? So if you start in, say,  Jan 2013, can you get it to run
each month until now?
Just a thought...
