Stock Splits?

I have tried using the "stock split" action that appears on the menu when
you are in a security account. When I tell it I have acquired 50 shares it
adds 0.5 shares. So I'd like to reverse that, but the transaction seems to
be invisible. I don't like that.

When I go to the register for the stock no transaction shows up for
3/1/1999. Clicking on the link (*0.50 ORCL*, for example) it jumps to the
next transaction in the account.

Any suggestions on how to dig out an invisible transaction?
