Suppress Currency character in reports

Keith,

I'm running GnuCash 2.6.3 on Win7 & 8.1 which only show the "$" currency
prefix NOT "$AUS" in reports, also I notice that English Pounds show with
just the £ symbol not £GB of £UK whatever it may be.

Check your "Edit >> Preferences >> Reports >> Default Report Currency"
setting - mine is set to Locale: AUD (Australian Dollar) - perhaps if you
set yours to your Locale currency yours will drop the "C" ?

Also under "Edit >> Preferences >> Accounts >> Default Currency" you can
set the currency to Locale or a selected other currency.

Hopefully that will fix your problem.

Cheers Dave H.
