Importing From Bank

Hi Dick-

You have two options: (1) Free: Login to wellsfargo.com and download the
Quicken file (that's the QFX version, even though they don't reference that
on the webpage). Gnucash deals very well with importing QFX files. (2)
$3/month for personal/$9.95/month for business. You would then be able to
download your transactions from Wells Fargo directly in Gnucash.

Directions for setting up OFX Direct Connect are in the GnuCash wiki:
http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Setting_up_OFXDirectConnect_in_GnuCash_2

For option 2, use the AqBanking Wizard (Tools...Online Banking Setup) or
the following settings to set up the OFX Direct Connect:
USER SETTINGS:
User Name: Your wellsfargo.com login
Client UID: Leave blank

BANK SETTINGS:
Bank: Wells Fargo
Broker ID: Leave blank
FID: 3000
ORG: WF
Server URL: https://ofxdc.wellsfargo.com/ofx/process.ofx

APPLICATION SETTINGS:
Application ID: QWIN
Application Version: 2000
Header Version: 102

Hope that helps,
Robin
