selecting a date range for a budget report

I have setup my budget and all is well. I recently converted from quicken and am missing the ability to specify a date range to include in a budget report.  For example, I'd like to see a budget report for the first quarter of 2014 with the actual, budgeted, dif columns for each month and the year. I'd like to be able to run the report in May and only see the Jan. - Mar. expenses.  Is this possible or do I need to add an enhancement request?
