One last note for future reference: The path should be either /home/sean/…  or just $HOME/… . They mean the same thing. $HOME/sean means /home/sean/sean.

Your last message says that you set GNC_DOT_DIR="/home/sean/Google Drive/gnucash”, which is correct, no need to change anything. I just want to make sure that you’re clear on the difference between /home and $HOME.
