Handling charitable donation as a discount on an invoice

Kevin,

Can you take full payment on the invoice, then "write a check" for the
donation? Make a clear notation in the check field and the invoice about
what you are doing do you don't forget. Not sure about your local tax
authority, but if you clearly document the transactions you may be ok.
