The answer is contained in this part of the FAQ
http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ#Q:_How_do_I_backup_my_GC_environment.2C_including_preferences.3F
because it tells you where the other stuff is stored. I don't run
Windows so I can't help otherwise
