Which stable version of GnuCash should I move to?

Hi Santhosh,

Loads of bugs have been closed since 2.4.0.  What should reassure you is that 
the data file had no changes in structure, format or semantics from 2.4.0 
onwards (so any 2.4.x will be happy with the datafile).

IIRC, there have been some changes to the file structure in the change 2.4 -> 
2.6, so once a file is open in 2.6 it may continue to open in 2.4.x

Neither applies!  ;-)  Just able to recall arcane trivia....eventually!
