Can't fix last transaction or add new in certain accts ...

Likewise when I double-click on the account  in the 'Account Name' list it doesn’t bring up the  account details, but rather only the next sub-account without details.  I have to use  the Open button.

The big problem is not being able to fix the last transaction – – even changing the date. I’ve tried everything including  changing the ‘parent account’,  deleting the transaction, duplicating it, etc. nothing works.
