Mutual fund prices precision

I'm manually entering some mutual fund transactions but it seems that
the price is rewriting itself to a number slightly different from the
price on the statement and I can't get it to stop.

For example, if price per share is 4.76 and the fund bought 47.889
shares, I type those two in and leave the sell column blank.  When the
entry is complete, the price is being rewritten to 4.75999 no matter
what I do.  It throws off the final share count.

What am I missing?
