GNUCash receipting

Hi Bert,

Please make sure to keep the conversations on the mailing list. You can 
do so by using the "Reply to all" or "Reply to list" features of your 
mail program.

The next major release of gnucash (2.8) will have a receipt report. This 
is geared towards an ESC/P compatible label printer, but can print to 
any printer your system can directly print to. It can be customized 
using css.

It assumes you create "customer invoices" for your donations. You can 
then print such invoice as a receipt.

In the current stable release you can do something similar by printing 
out an invoice using one of the existing reports. Of the invoice reports 
the "Tax Invoice" is the most flexible from a customization point of 
view. So that may be your best starting point.
