QIF imports into Release 2.6.10 broken?

Yes I can confirm the problem with QIF import on GnuCash 2.6.10.

This is on Manjaro Linux.  The QIF import wizard works normally until 
hitting the Start Import button, then it fails with a notice reading "A 
bug was detected while converting the QIF data", which when acknowledged 
immediately gives another notice reading "A bug was detected while 
detecting duplicates".  The program however does not crash.

Downgrading to GnuCash 2.6.9 returns normal QIF import functions.
