Housekeeping v archiving

That placeholder tip is a good feature which overcomes the drop down menu
feature too. 

Used with the archiving into two expense/income accounts it pretty much
removes them from all views. Is there anything special to watch out for when
generating reports, for example are hidden accounts still featured normally
along with placeholders?
