I am not sure it is obvious that the question relating to multiple
files apparently with the same name is answered.  I think this is
caused by the user having his OS set to not show file extensions
(which I suspect is the default in windows) so talk of .gnucash and
.log files is not immediately helpful to him.  Perhaps this problem is
addressed in the wiki, but I could not see it.
