Start Day of Weekly Report

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the screenshot. So, to sum up, your GnuCash give you Monday as the first day of the week and your computer is set up for the UK region, where Monday is commonly viewed as the first day of the week. My computer is set up for the US region, where Sunday is commonly regarded as the first day of the week, but I have had the first day set as Monday since I set up this build, before installing GnuCash. However, I'm still getting weeks that start on Sunday in GnuCash. I think

I have already reported that changing the region setting to France did not change the reports to start their weeks on Monday. I just tried it again with the united Kingdom and got the same results. However, I did notice that the date format changed from the US standard (MM/DD/YYYY) to the UK standard (DD/MM/YYYY), so GnuCash is noticing that I've changed the region.

I think you are right that we need someone to chime in who knows a fair bit more about the internals s of GnuCash and its interaction with the OS. I don't know where to go from here. Thanks for your help.

Best,
John
