Show transactions only between accounting periods

If you perhaps mean that you'd like to show the period balance for each account  in the accounts tab, rather than the total balance, you can click on the triangle near top right and select to show the period total also. Sorry, I'm not at my PC now so I cannot tell you what that field is called exactly but it is fairly obvious I seem to recall.
