Reports Auto Update

Does anyone know of a way to have open transaction reports update 
automatically? As an example when I add new transactions to an expense 
or income account the open report will not show them. If I go into edit 
report options and select start date, then I can now click apply, and 
the report is updated with the new added transactions. If there is no 
other way to do what I'm trying,  how do I submit a feature request for 
an auto report refresh button or a means to schedule report updating.
