Meanwhile, for items like this one, you can continue to track them in 
gnucash; they just won't show up in the report or any export to tax 
software based on TXF. You will have to deal with them "on the side" 
(e.g., get the amounts from another gnucash report and enter the amounts 
into the tax software separately)


Can be done with a single report. Look at the various reports that do 
income and expenses (like the "Income Statement" or "Profit and Loss", 
essentially the same thing). Now with report options select JUST the 
expense accounts that you want, in this case, those with TXF codes plus 
those that are depreciation. In terms of which lines these should appear 
on the tax form, remember YOU control what the name of an account is and 
could include that in the name, etc.
